It's Friday!
The start of the weekend. :)
What's your favorite libation?

I'll start,
Beer, Yeungling, nice bold flavor, easy drinking.
I prefer bourbon, , Makers 46, smooth, great for sipping.
I also like Makers Mark and Jim Beam.

Beam is great for mixed drinks. My 80 year old neighbor makes something she calls a bourbon slushie that will knock your socks off.
Great on a warm August evening.

Unfortunately being a commissioned salesman of appliances I work every weekend :cuss:

I do enjoy a good bottle of Jack Daniels though during my private time at home. :)

We're at the slow time of the year right now, so we have the weekends off. Once the weather starts getting warmer it really picks up. Sometimes weeks without a day off.
Until then, bottoms up! :)

Love the Yeungling also and bourbon as well. Right now i'm through a 1/3 of a large bottle of Ezra Brooks, circa 1965, its great.
The wifes 93 year old father passed 4 years ago leaving 18, that's right, 18, cases of mixed liquors he got over the years as gifts. The man did not drink but was a hoarder. It'll probably take another 18 years for me to drink the stuff but I shall endeavor to do so.:D :flag:

I don't drink often ... but when I do it's either a nice glass of Chardonnay or one of a variety of Southern Comfort mixtures ... Stay sober my friends ;)

Hey Diesel, I've had some EB, great stuff.
18 cases!? Really? That's quite a haul.

Daniel. I haven't had that particular brand.
Tried some JD Honey, while it was good I wasn't fond of the way it coated my palate.
Too sweet for me.

Diesel- very nice collection of Beam!
4 yrs without buying toilet paper? Where do you keep all that stuff?
Maybe you should start a thread on all the goodies you inherited.
I'm curious of what 90 yrs of hoarding is.

Wouldn't believe me if i told ya, Reaper. Took us 3 yrs. of weekends to clean it out and thats with the help of hers and my kids.
The old lady hired an auctioneer to get rid of most of it. My daughter- in- law took a gorgeous Ithica "1911" home for her hubby.(x-jarhead) I managed to get a "1942" National Postal Meter, M1 Carbine.
The weapons are in great shape for their age, i believe because he was in the Navy, not crawl'n through the blood and the guts and the rain.:flag:
Check it out;
View attachment 619 :D
Notice that two of the extra clips are still wrapped in cosmoline paper.

Man, that's an awesome score!
3 years of weekends? It sounds like it would take that long just to make a list. LOL!
