That government is best which governs the least, because its people discipline themselves.
    Thomas Jefferson

So, let the people, and the local government think for themselves. The more the government tries to fix an issue, the worse the situation gets. The remedies of the government are no remedies at all! They lead when they are not wanted. The make decisions from the vacuum of Washington and not the world we live in. They don't live amongst us, they don't live like us, they should not make decisions for us.
  2. That's the key statement!

How can somebody who knows very little, if anything, about guns and their culture, have the gall to say what's right and wrong with it and then attempt to make new laws governing something they know nothing about?? It's just wrong.

And as long as I'm on it, perhaps they should learn a bit more about our Constitution before coming up with these half-baked ideas of how to keep us "safe".

Once again, what part of "...shall not be infringed.." is lost on these supposed learned people in Washington?

My people tried to tell everyone that during the war between the states but no one would listen and now look at how things are going.
