Ruger single six

    Finally got my .44 back from the gunsmith. Had it gone over and re-blued. He found out the gun was made in 1957, one of the earliest flat tops. I'm not real happy with the bluing job though, as i can see some thin spots.:flag:

  2. Ahh.. But does she shoot better after the trip to the smith? I've been toying with getting a SA ruger for a while and this does not helP.:cuss:

    Sorry Chris. Took her out today and fired a few rounds. It shoots remarkably well for an old gun. I think it shoots well enough to take a deer this fall with it.:flag:
