The new "CVA Wolf" smokepole shoots straight and true.

295 gr. Powerbelt bullet, 2 50 gr. pellets of Pyrodex, straight through the heart at 60-70 yards.
Leopold 2-7 scope.

Nice Doe good shooting should make for good eats. Are you now switching to muzzleloading or will you still handgun and sluggun. which type of hunting do you perfer. This would make for a nice poll.

I have a Savage Mod. 210. Its strictly a slug gun, bolt action, fixed 2 round clip(3") full rifle barrel, and a tack driver.
I have ultra confidence in this gun as I've killed many deer with it already.
I'm also a crossbow hunter, so if I get a good buck with bow, i'll use the muzzle loader for gun season. If not, i'll take the 210.
It's topped with a Nikon 2-7 which I love. Here in lies another good question Dan, what scope brand and power do you recommend and why?:flag:

On some of my guns for hunting I like a fixed power. Mostly 4 power burris leupold nikon all are great scopes. Most shots are not long so I like good clear high quality scopes.
