This critter was photographed by my neighbor across the street less than 200 yards from my front door!
This pic was taken yesterday morning and it's great to see.
It's a cell phone pic so it's hard to see. Open the pic and double click on it for a larger view of this young black bear.

We usually see these young males in the spring of the year when their mothers run them off and the mature males chase them this way.
It's quite rare in my neck-o-da-woods to see one at this time. Perhaps he is now a resident.
P.S. he was heading dead north, right into MY woods.....very cool.
