AR-15 .223 vs Mil-Spec 5.56mm Chambers

  2. I knew about 5.56 being a hotter load and .223 being a slightly smaller diameter. But Other than burning out the rifling in your barrel and eroding the throat I didn't know shooting 5.56 through a .223 could have such serious consequences. Good info to know!
